Are you going to Heaven?
The Bible way to Heaven
1. Realize you have sinned.
Romans 3:23-For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:10-As it is written, There is none righteous,no, not one:
To know you are going to Heaven you must know first off that you are in need of saving.
2. Ramifications are certain.
Romans 6:23a-For the wages of sin is death...
Revelation 21:14- And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death
As stated above, our righteousness is filthy to God. We therefore cannot save ourselves
3. Redemption through the Saviour
Romans 5:8- But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 3:13-Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Because God loves us, He made a way for salvation. The only way to be saved is through Christ's sacfrice.
4. Recieve His salvation.
Romans 10:13-For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever elieveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
There is no work we can do, but only trust in His sacrifice.
Many will call on God for salvation by praying some like:
Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner. I am asking you to save me. I put my faith in you alone for salvation.
